Hello my fellow musketeers,

I am hoping all my US musketeers are enjoying their Independence Day celebrations. As you can see, the fire works are about to start here as well. I hope you like the bit of alliteration I threw in Blackheart Bart’s dialog. Try saying it 10 time fast ( I bet you can’t) :P .

Also, you’ll noticed we have added some ads to the site, a follow me on twitter button (you know you want to) ;) , and if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page you’ll find a button for Comic Basement. It is a new webcomic directory and you can vote for me and make me one of their top webcomics. So let’s rally the troops. All for one and one for all. Let’s see if we can’t make me #1 for a week, month or all time :) . And who knows you may find some new favorites there too.

On a more somber note my good friend and fellow webcomic artist, Jay Potts, lost his dad last week. I’d (and I am sure he would too) appreciate it if you visited his site and let him know we here at Delacroix and the Daring are thinking about him and his family. And if you haven’t already, read his  strip World of Hurt, and let him know you’ll be there when he gets back to enjoy Pastor’s adventures.

The Three Musketeers Movie

Hello my fellow musketeers,

No doubt you all have heard about the upcoming movie adaptation of “The Three Musketeers.” I am excited that they are making a musketeer movie and hope it is entertaining and successful. Here is a link to the official site. Go look around and let me know what you think of it. I am still partial to the Chris O’Donnell and pre-crazy Charlie Sheen version, but maybe these guys will change my mind. Once I get to see it, I’ll write a review for you all in October.

Like Real Men

Ahoy my merry band of musketeers,

Although the musketeers are known for their dexterity with a blade, the rapier was but one of the weapons in the musketeer’s arsenal. I’ll discuss some of those on Thursday, but like any other warrior his greatest assets are his mind and heart. Edmond and Darius have those in spades (I may be a bit bias). :)  Next week the fisticuffs begin in earnest, so tell all your friends not to miss the action.
